Azuni
Azuni is a London based designer jewellery label which specialises in gorgeous hand-crafted pieces. Founded by Ashley Sinclair Marshall over 15 years ago after deciding upon a major career change. Having studied and worked as a chef for over 10 years at some of London's foremost kitchens including The Dorchester and The Ivy in London he decided to channel his creative energy in a new direction. Passionate and fascinated by Native American cultures, he set off to South and Central America to learn more about their art. This followed by three years of study at Sir John Cass Jewellery and Silversmithing at the University in London.
Tribal influences and ancient art, coupled with modern popular culture continue to be the inspiration of the Azuni collections. Using techniques such as hand texturing, beading, engraving and oxidizing, Azuni has an individuality and a signature which sits firmly between 'two worlds'.
