It was such a great moment at The Lingerie Awards, 2012 last night, when the winner of The Swimwear Designer of the Year was announced and it was Pistol Panties! I don’t think any of us really thought we’d win, and genuinely I’m not sure there is anything much better.
So we whooped and hugged – particularly proud to fight off big heavy weight competition like La Perla and Sea Folly. But the talented designer Deborah Fleming definitely deserved this accolade. 2012 has been a big year for the label, with a sell-out collection at Selfridges and the hugely successful pop-up store, which we opened in March. The collection has been featured across the media from Vogue, Glamour, to Grazia, Sunday Times Style ….
The night was finished off in style at Whiskey Mist with copies amounts of Absolut Vodka cocktails! … hic
