Before setting up MLPR in 2004
Marie Louise Pumfrey worked at Channel Five for seven years as Head of Drama, Arts and Life-style Publicity. She managed the PR for high profile dramas, lifestyle shows, arts programming and documentaries.
Prior to this she spent two years in Sydney at Spin Communications as PR Manager on fashion accounts. She also worked as Picture Editor on the Australian fashion publication, Mode Magazine.
Back in London, before leaving for Australia, she was Promotions Manager for LBC Radio for two years. She also worked at Lynne Franks PR for three years in fashion, retail and life-style.
She started her career in PR at the book publishers, Virago Press as Press Officer.
